What is a Credit Union?

A credit union is a member-owned financial cooperative, controlled by its members and operated on the principle of people helping people, providing its members credit at competitive rates as well as other financial services.



Who can join the Medical and Health Services Cooperative Credit Union?

All health worker in the gambia are eligible to join the credit union as it is the common bond binding all health and health related workers.



How can I join the Medical and Health Services Cooperative Credit Union (MHSCCU)?

You can download the membership form here or pop-in to our headquarters or one of our branches for a members form



How much do i need to pay to join the union?

You only need to pay one hundred D100.00 for the passbook and it is that simple to open an account with the union.



How can I make my monthly savings to my account in the union?

You can download a standing order form here or navigate to the forms and downloads link. It'll be given your accountant to effect deduction from your payroll as soon as possible.



When can I take a Loan?

You are entitled to a loan after saving with the MHSCCU for a period of six months
